4 most frequent questions from Czech Retail Days

And how we at Buylo answer them.
At Czech Retail Days we met with dozens of Czech retail leaders, operations managers, innovators and investors.
The discussion was direct, factual and often very practical. Just the way retail should be.
And while everyone was addressing something a little different, four themes recurred that are of interest to the entire market today. Here are the four most common questions and our answers.
1️⃣ How does RFID actually work in practice?
Briefly: each product has its own digital identity, which we can read remotely and in bulk.
A RFID tag is a small chip that carries a unique ID.
An RFID scanner is a device that reads these IDs.
A practical example?
We recently scanned an entire palette of books in a few seconds in Trebic. In a conventional warehouse, this would have meant tens of minutes of manual work and a higher risk of errors.
RFID makes inventory, stock control and data review much faster.
2️⃣ How challenging is the Buylo smart chain implementation?
Less than anyone would expect. Because Buylo connects to existing systems, you don't have to change ERP or operational processes.
Implementation takes place in three steps:
-
Data and process analysis — we find out where delays or errors are occurring.
-
RFID and IoT infrastructure deployment — without interfering with normal operations.
-
Overview with smart chain — system starts collecting data in real time.
In practice: The traffic goes on. Technology takes over the background work.
3️⃣ How quickly will the investment pay off?
For most companies, very quickly. Typically within 3–6 months.
The reason is simple:
Buylo removes the most expensive parts of retail and logistics:
-
repetitive human labor
-
data errors,
-
redundant times for inventories,
-
outages,
-
losses during transfers between departments.
For example, after implementation, companies see:
-
to 10× faster inventory,
-
to 40% fewer operational errors,
-
significantly more accurate real-time inventory visibility.
4️⃣ Is Buylo just for big chains?
No.
Buylo smart chain is modular, so it works for:
-
large retail chains,
-
medium-sized operations,
-
e-commerce warehouses,
-
manufacturer,
-
logistics companies.
It's enough to have a flow of product that needs order and visibility.
The technology is scalable. It grows with the company, not against it.
Effect: Retail wants clarity, not assumptions
Czech Retail Days confirmed one thing:
Czech retail is ready for change.
To technologies that bring certainty in data, smooth processes and less chaos.
And that's exactly what Buylo is. Ismart chain infrastructure that puts order where noise used to reign.
